TAXES, DUTIES AND TARIFFS

Depending on your shipping location, you may be required to pay additional customs duties or tariffs, as the tax-included price only covers sales tax and not import fees. Most countries we ship to don’t charge these extra fees since our parcels typically fall below the duty threshold, but this can vary. For U.S. customers, no tax is collected at checkout, but customs may reach out directly upon arrival. Swiss, Norwegian, and Korean customers may also be contacted by their local customs about import fees. In European and Asian countries, we collect sales tax at checkout to simplify delivery, though duties are generally not charged. Customs policies can change, so we recommend checking with your local authorities for the most up-to-date information. For more information, click here

Understanding “Tax Included” Pricing and Checkout Tax Discrepancies

Our product prices are shown without tax, as the final tax amount depends on your shipping location. We collect sales tax based on your country’s requirements, especially for European and Asian countries, where tax is due upon entry, though this typically excludes duties and tariffs, which are usually not applicable due to the low parcel value. For U.S. customers, we ship using DAP (Delivered at Place), meaning no tax is collected at checkout, but you may incur additional charges such as duties or tariffs upon delivery. Because tax laws vary and may change, we recommend checking with your local customs authority before purchasing. If you notice a difference between the product page’s tax-included price and the final amount at checkout, it's due to tax being calculated on your full order total, including shipping, based on your specific location. REFUSED DELIVERIES, MISSED PACKAGES, AND LOST PARCELS

Refusal of Delivery

If a recipient refuses delivery due to administrative fees or customs tax liabilities, and the parcel is returned to Hong Kong as a result, we reserve the right to deduct any return shipping and handling costs from the customer’s refund if a refund is requested.

Missed Deliveries

As we currently only offer standard shipping, we understand missed deliveries can be frustrating. We encourage customers to track their shipments and contact us promptly if a delivery is missed. Our shipping partner often allows us to intercept failed deliveries and reschedule them. However, if the parcel is returned to our Hong Kong warehouse due to failed delivery, we may deduct the return shipping cost from any refund requested. If redelivery is chosen, we will require an updated or alternative address to avoid the issue recurring.

Lost Parcels

Because delivery practices vary by country, parcels occasionally go missing. We will assist by tracking the shipment’s route and providing available details from our logistics partners. If tracking shows the parcel as “delivered” but you haven’t received it, please contact us promptly. We may be able to provide delivery confirmation via a photo or signature. If such proof is available but the parcel is still missing, we unfortunately won’t be able to offer further assistance and recommend checking with neighbors who may have received it on your behalf.
